Mark Haswell

BDS, MSc Implant Dentistry, Diploma British Society of Osseointegration Mark joined Stradbrook in 1990 and began carrying out implant-based treatments in 1991. He was one of the first dentists in the UK to undertake an MSc in Implant Dentistry, and qualified in 1998 with the Brånemark prize from the Eastman Dental Institute. He now teaches on a number of programmes at the Eastman, including the Masters Implant Programme, and also teaches nationally and internationally for various implant companies. He is renowned in the industry for his acumen and knowledge together with his innovative and forward-thinking methods.

Simon Peter

BDS (Lond), LDS, RCS (Eng), DRDP (Lond) Stradbrook Dental Centre partner Simon Peter heads our endodontics services. He is heavily involved in postgraduate education, and has completed a diploma in restorative dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute. He completed the advanced module at the Eastman under the supervision of Chris Stock, Chris Emery and Tony Hoskinson in 2001 and is a member of the British Endodontic Society. He has completed the Cliff Ruddle re-root treatment course in Santa Barbara and is near to completing the FGDP for the Royal College of Surgeons.

Richard Tucker

BDS, MSc, MClinDent, MFDS, MRD (Perio), RCSEd One of the first candidates to complete the full 3-year specialist training in Periodontology in the UK gaining the MRD Medal from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Richard was also awarded a distinction for his MClinDent (Periodontology) degree. He currently works at the Eastman two days per week where he is Director and Coordinator of Eastman CPD Periodontal Programmes. For the rest of the week, he is in specialist referral practice in the West End of London, limited to Periodontics and implant surgery as well as at Stradbrook. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and lectured nationally and internationally.

René Roets

BCh.D (Stell), MDent (Rand) René joined our dental centre in 1997 from his prosthodontic practice in Cape Town. He is registered as a Specialist Prosthodontist having qualified with a Master's degree in fixed and removable prosthodontics at the University of Witwatersrand. He has served as a senior lecturer and external examiner at the University of Stellenbosch. He accepts referrals of more advanced cosmetic and restorative cases including implants, TMJ disorders and compromised dentures.

Keith Peirce

BDS (Lond) 1976 Keith is part of our implant team, and qualified from King's College Hospital London in 1976. Since then he has furthered his knowledge and skills in many areas of dentistry but has mainly focused on advanced crown and bridge work, cosmetic dentistry and implants. Keith has been placing and restoring Nobel Biocare™ implants for 12 years.

Carl Manhem

DDS, Specialist in Oral Surgery Carl is renowned for his work with dental implants. He works at the Eastman Dental Institute and the Harley Street Clinic Hospital and is used to dealing with extremely complex cases. He also spends a lot of time teaching - since 2000 he has been Director for the Implantology Step-by-Step course programme at CPD-EDI, and is running several implantology courses. Carl is also involved in a specialist training programme in maxillo-facial surgery in Sweden and in research on implants with regards to healing processes and the biocompatibility of implant materials.

Georgios Papageorgakopoulos

D.D.S., M.S.

Georgios is a Specialist Periodontist trained in Louisville University, USA. He is a board certified specialist in the USA and registered specialist here in the United Kingdom by the General Dental Council. He has extensive experience with treatment of advanced gum disease. Georgios has a special interest in laser assisted therapy, dental implants, site development (extraction, socket preservation) and periodontal, plastic and reconstructive surgery.
